Currently I am paid $20/hour for a nanny share in an area where that rate is unheard of. I care for 2 infants, and I do all of their meal prep and cleaning. I wouldn't mind taking on more household manager type tasks if the children I worked with were older. I enjoy cleaning, cooking, and organizing.[/quote]
Well, that explains why you'd be satisfied with the $25/hr Alice rate you had mentioned. Top nannies in the DC area can earn $25+/hr for just one child, and no other obligations.[/quote]

It really burns you up that someone else is happy huh? What a sad way to live, needing to tear down others to convince yourself of your worth. $25/hour is an annual salary of $52k. There are many people making less doing much more difficult jobs. [/quote]
