No one that relies on their nanny is going to fire them immediately and have to take 2 weeks of vacation time staying home with their own child while they look for a new one. They may not keep her all 8 weeks sure, but it takes more than 2 weeks to find a good nanny, I'd better OP could stay on for a good 6 more weeks if she was honest.[/quote]
