If the average ft Nanny in your area makes $16/hrs plus overtime for a 50 hour week, you can calculate a pt hourly rate by taking 60% of $880 and dividing that number by 30. $17.60 or a bit more should get you a good candidate. If you also know of a mom looking for 2 days a week, which would give Nanny full time hours, that would potentially help you find a candidate.[/quote]
