This next job would be a huge HUGE jump in pay. And yes more hours, but nothing crazy or non normal in the nanny world.

Go with the new job! A huge jump in pay can make such a big difference for your finances! do the trial, see if you like the contract and then give notice. Offer to help your MB by helping find a new nanny, or offer to stay late a time or two  so she can interviews, wish her well and move on! Its always hard but you can do this[/quote]
