Pp here, and I agree.  I think it's odd that you would be offered guaranteed hours and not 4 days/yr of paid vacation.  If I was your MB, I would have made it clear that you are taking this weekend as vacation and paid you for the weekend.  I would check with your MB, but it seems to me that this is more of an informal arrangement, and she might not expect to pay you for any hours not worked.[/quote]

OP here and I do not get paid vacation for this part-time job.  This is not an informal arrangement.
