If not, then I think this is annoying.  At best.

Once or twice a month I have a work obligation that requires a very similar variation in schedule (asking nanny to stay an hour later in the evening, which is often offset by allowing her to come in later in the morning, but not always.)  I always give her at least a week's notice when I need this, sometimes it's as much as a month's notice.  She is always paid overtime rates (as her base hours are 50 hrs/week.)  She always has the ability to say no.

Only in an emergency would I text her the night before and ask for a schedule change.  To do that indicates that you think she doesn't have a life outside of work, and that you have little concern or respect for her time.
