I would just let it roll off your back. It is too bad that she did not have the foresight to see how it would sound to you.

I think she was talking to you like a friend, equal, not as a nanny. It is one of those foot in mouth situations.

Yes, we say things we regret sometimes. Just remember that she was not talking about you. Nanny is different from SAHM where you get paid to do all those things. Would it have made you feel better if she added "I would only be ever be SAHM if someone paid me for doing all this."[/quote]
