My advice regardless of the situation or what was said is to-no matter how extremely awkward it is-bring up how you felt to your MB. She probably had no idea how insensitive she was being and is probably just insecure about herself. Explain that you felt disrespected. She will probably (hopefully) feel awful and apologize and explain. Don't let it fester, this is an important relationship and you don't want the tension to build up more. [/quote]
