Well when talking to my MB casually later on, she jokingly told me that both parents were going to just pay me $12/Hr EACH and that she was relieved that my rate was lower. She laughed about it, but I don't see the humor. I found it tacky and now for some odd reason, I feel super [i]resentful[/i] that she told me that.

I wish I never knew because now even though I set the rate, knowing that they are capable of paying me more and would have has left a bad taste in my mouth.
