I was  taught it is bad manners to spit in the sink when brushing teeth. I have noticed some people do this. I find it disgusting MB may as well.

A nanny should be able to to use the toilet as needed, but I won't go as far as to say she should be able to do as she pleases in the bathroom for example unless you are a live in nanny I don't think you would be shaving your legs on the job.[/quote]

OP asked if she did anything wrong or did anything that could have upset her MB.
I gave her an honest answer.  Some people like myself and maybe her MB do not like people spitting in the sinks even if they clean up after. Maybe MB saw her spitting.
I am a nanny, part of being a nanny means realizing other people have other customs in their homes.
I never told her she should not use the bathroom or brush her teeth. That was your projection  ( or English comprehension problem).
It's equally as likely MB made no face and OP is just projection, and as I said originally she is probably just over thinking things and worrying about nothing.
