[/quote] +1. Paid in a "timely manner" doesn't mean that they have to pay you on Thursday. It means they have to pay you, period, at a time reasonably close to when you did the work. Some people are paid daily, some weekly, some every other week, some monthly. Some people are paid on the spot for work done that day, some are paid a week or two later for the work done in the prior pay period. All of those are "timely" payments. And of course they can pay in cash, as long as it's the same amount you'd be receiving by check.[/quote]
