Another time when she had a TV to get rid of, she tried to sell it to me. I declined (vigorously), and a week or two later, she [i]gave[/i] it to me as a wedding present, together with a sound system and an item of furniture. I already had a TV, and hardly ever watch it - which she knows. And it completely dwarfs my tiny living room. It was completely calculated to help her be rid of the thing, and in that moment I didn't feel as though I could decline the offer.

She's a great boss and a wonderful woman, but sometimes I just shake my head a bit.[/quote]
