I told her in case there was a toy or something in the pipe. Turns out the newer toilets have smaller pipes that are more finicky. Also,  avoid flushing tampons is you know this is a problem. Last thing you want us for db to snake the toilet and pull your tampon out. Happened to my sister,  only it was my brother who did the snaking and pulled a big wad of tampons out. Good luck.
