She was receptive to my desire to have something low key at home with a bunch of kids running around - because I know and love those kids and will miss them. What she actually did was much, much more special. I have always wanted to learn to cook Ethiopian food and she invited an Ethiopian friend who loves to cook to teach me some recipes and make a wonderful dinner. Everyone was in the kitchen getting messy together and then we had cake at the end of the night. Each family member took a turn telling a memory about me that was special to them. It was tears all around. I feel so loved![/quote]
