Today, They told me to take tomorrow off, as they would both be home.  Later this evening, I got a text from them saying that they decided they need me to come in after all.  I'm irritated that they expect me to take chances driving to work in this weather.  We have no salt trucks and I drive a small car that doesn't handle well in this type of weather.
The thing that is really irritating me though is that they said they want me to come because they are already paying me for the day.
Their offices are closed. Schools are closed.  Many stores and restaurants will be closed.  
I normally have Wednesdays off anyway but had Monday off instead because the baby had to go to the doctor.
I willingly rescheduled an appointment of my own in order to accommodate them. 
Am I being unreasonable to not want to drive to work?[/quote]
