Turn up the heat when you get there and remember to turn it back down before they get home at the end of the day. Don't say anything about it. And find a new job before giving notice so you don't screw yourself over
MB here and honestly that would be my advice as well. Do they turn it up when they get home for the nighttime? I'm just curious since you said they are comfortable with the temp, but I'd imagine it gets much colder at night. Have you told them that is is 40 something degrees in there? Better yet taken a screen shot? I'm just wondering if they truly have no idea because they turn up the heat as soon as they get home? I can't imagine how cold it gets a night, but must be way colder than during the day! So, what happens at night? If you've had this conversation with them and they still won't turn up the heat, just document (I prefer email so everything is there in writing), turn up the heat when they aren't home, and start looking for a new job. No one should be left in a cold house all day.
