- ability to gracefully manage grandparents and family dynamics
- willingness to lend a hand (it's not in the job description but every once in a while our nanny will clean the stove or sweep the floor or run a load of laundry for us.  HUGE help and really builds a mutually supportive relationship)
- playfulness, creativity, sense of fun
- someone willing to foster healthy eating and sleeping habits
- someone with potty training experience
- ability to drive and reliable transportation
- legal to work in the US
- sense of humor
- maturity
- good judgment

Those are in no particular order - some are obviously more critical than others.[/quote]
