I had been working for the same family for more than 3 years now.....moms works in the government, dad work in marketing (private company) since the shutdown the mom is working normally but today she told me that her salary should be fine until this Friday (October,11) and after that she doesn't know what's going to happen ......next week the family it's going to be away ( vacation) and I asked the mom today if at least they can pay me this week she told me that all depends  if she receives her regular paycheck this Friday!! Mmmm what about next week?? Don't know what to do how handle this situation....also early this year she told me that even a bad weather (snow storm, hurricane etc) she need me to come to work because now her work regulations changes and even in bad weather  she have to work from home if I can't come because the bad weather I'm not going to be pay ......advise please!! Anybody else having this situation??
