No, I read that thread, but I'm not sure how this is relevant to that.  Are you saying that because one particular parent spends all day at their job surfing the internet that makes it right?  Maybe the parent posting that thread is just a crappy employee, and that person's poor behavior and lack of professionalism is not a justification for others (parents or nannies) to spend the day surfing the internet.  I'm not saying that nannies (or parents) should never surf the internet or read or whatever while working, just that the fact that someone else is doing something is not a good argument that everyone should get to do it.[/quote]
