There is not enough privacy, you have no claim to any of the shared spaces (as PP mentioned re: tv, cooking, etc.), impossible to have friends over or host dinners/parties/movies with your friends, it's too easy for parents to extend your hours unexpectedly or begin to take advantage in other ways, and I always felt uncomfortable adding things to the grocery list but I didn't eat the same foods they did. I wouldn't do it again.[/quote]
