Disagree. Anyone who lives here has as much risk of contracting or spreading the virus as anyone else. I don’t care about their citizenship status. I just want as many shots in as many arms as possible.

And that can be done - once citizens have theirs.

Creepy (and immoral).

Neither. You give up your vaccine if you feel so strongly that non-citizens should get it before citizens.

Super creepy and immoral. I’m waiting in line for a vaccine - but I absolutely think essential workers who are not citizens should get it before you. See, it’s not hard to be a bottom-feeder. Try it!

Except APs are no more essential workers than parents. You really need to check your wealth privilege before lecturing to others.

Hilarious. Childcare workers ARE essential workers. Check your wealth privilege please. In DC all lawyers regardless of where the live are eligible for the vaccine. I think that’s ridiculous since I don’t need to go in. I am waiting until the vaccine is wildly available. Childcare workers ARE essential-which is why nannies have been getting the vaccine all month. We get that you see them as sub-human, Serena. Creepy.

I think it is meant for lawyers and legal staff providing in person services like court appearances.

Except it doesn't say that - which means almost every lawyer in my biglaw office has gotten it - people who live in Haymarket and Annapolis who never ever come in - are suddenly happy to come to DC to get the vaccine. So, I absolutely think it is fine for au pairs who spend their whole day with vulnerable populations who cannot be vaccinated get the vaccine.

Yes. Many people have had at least one shot. Young paralegals even.

Ugh this pre-registration system is frustrating. It is so drawn out.
