So then. How long do you get the premium "2 under 2" rate? In one years time that's not the case and what? You leave for another job because you priced yourself out with your own attempted logic? |
So tired of cheap parents here. Thank God not all parents are that cheap. |
I love a nanny who rants and raves how difficult her job is with napping babies are the most difficult 9 months and she mar get paid some made up 2 under 2 rate.
Then what's the 2 under 3 rate and 2 under 4 rate? Or better yet, what's the preschool rate? You must love job hopping. |
Get a life, troll. |
Newborns can't tell you if the nanny is not caring for the child properly or even abusing the child. 3 and 4 year olds can speak. Just because it's easy doesn't mean that you can hire someone subpar and cheap. |
Agree. The naive poster never had a baby with reflux. She has no clue. |
What percentage of babies have reflux? So you acknowledge taking care of babies is easy? Thank you. |
Did you miss the part where I said "healthy newborn"? My maternity leaves have been the easiest of all times. And nannies get to go home and get a full night's sleep, thus bypassing the only wrinkle in the newborn care experience. |
if you raise only 1 it would be 8 dollars a day extra is that a joke? at least 3 extra why pay 20 for a chilad and then 1 for the other one it doesnt make sense |
Exactly. No intelligent nanny would take on the responsibility of an additional infant for a dollar or two. |
If a new baby is 100% increase in workload, you should be working two times the amount you were working before. If you are working the same hours, how is it possible, unless half of your day, before, was spent doing nothing?
More work, definitely yes, no question. But people who come on this board and say it's double the work just seem silly/mathematically challenged. It doesn't help the argument, and works against you (because everything you say is automatically discounted). Just say it is requires additional skills, including multi-tasking, and a higher degree of flexibility and organizational skills, and therefore is worth more than only $1 per hour extra as compensation. Much better argument. |
Our nanny didn't ask for a raise when we went from 3 to 4. |
7 to 10% raise |
Ok ,stay home and take care yourself,Ora's bolas... |
7 to 10% more |
