I even had an MB explicitly ask me in front of DH if a comment I made to my charge was meant for her husband. She was in the kitchen when she overheard me tell my charge helpless very cute in his new outfit. I felt insulted but sorry and embarrassed for her.

News flash. You may think your husband is hot but I guarantee as a " cute" nanny I have several choices and your middle-aged, balding husband is so not one of them. I've worked with men who were attentive bosses but I have integrity and morals and would never betray my MBs trust or my own morals.

Ok, so position 1: hmmmm, dad traveled for work, so I was with mom (and kids) during my time off. No problem. Mom had classes weeknights and weekends, and I was with dad (and kids) during my time off. No problem.

Position 2: Mom didn't live there. 7 children, dad, an uncle for a while and me. Hmmm, nope, never had an issue with either the father or uncle.

Position 3: Mom works out-of-state/out-of-country for a month at a time. I was there with dad, kids. Nope, no problem.

Have some common sense. Is your nanny wearing provocative clothes while home, trying to draw his attention? Is your husband watching her frequently? If so, talk to him and/or find a new nanny. Otherwise, treat both like adults.
