No. I never got my pay. Decided to let it go.

Why would you let it go? You might not even need to go to small claims court, but rather give the Department of Labor a call.


Because I have something else now that makes me happy. It pays well, I love the kids and the parents are great.

I don't want to put anymore time into it. If I end up going to court over it, families in the future might think I'm difficult and skip over me.

You can at least write them a letter threatening to take them to court. Or call your labor board. Short of filing official paperwork, I'm not sure how future employers would know.
