| MB and lawyer responding to OP (not other drama in this chain). By the time you hire a lawyer and go through the whole process of suing them, it will take a long time and will take a lot of effort. It may be easier to just assert yourself directly to them - lay it out on the table or send them a letter demanding they pay you what they owe and try to negotiate with them. Going to court will suck up a lot of time, money and effort and you may or may not get anything except a headache. That doesn't mean give up though - lay out the facts for them and have an open discussion in which you push for what you believe you're entitled. |

I have several of (former employer) lawyer friends who would be more than happy to write them a "nice" letter laying out the facts. |
