This is why we bought a 3rd car for the nanny - we just can't trust a random car to be up to our standards for carrying around our children. After a few years of using nannies, we switched to an au pair who now uses that car.

We also did this. This car is now eight years old and we keep up on all maintenance and have the car covered under our AAA, auto and umbrella insurance policies. That way, if the car is involved in a bad accident, we don't lose our house and savings due to inadequate coverage limits. Peace of mind= priceless.
