How much to pay for driving

We have a part time babysitter who drives our kids at least twice weekly.
It is usually about 15-20 miles a week. Do we pay her for driving the kids in addition to her hourly pay which is 32 dollars an hour for two toddlers! Thanks |

$32 is a good hourly rate. Did she agree to driving when you agreed to the rate?
If she is using her own car you could always give her a gas gift card once a month or so as a benefit. |

If she is using her car, yes, reimburse at the IRS rate of 72.5 cents per mile.
It would be generous to gift a car detailing at least once a year. |

Either provide and vehicle and pay the costs yourself, or pay mileage at $.70/mile. |
