I Love My Current Nanny Family But…….

I have been caring for two children off + on for the past four yrs.
I am very close w/this family, they treat me very well & pay me a good salary. The problem? The Mother recently found out she is expecting so they had to move to a bigger house. They told me it was still close-by, only about 5-7 min. away from their old house. However I drove it this wknd and it is actually a 20 min. longer drive so my total commute there one way is 45-50 min.! I really want to continue w/this family but cannot due to the increased commute. What would you do? |

It doesn't sound much more time and if the family is nice, it'd be worth it for me I guess ...
Can't you ask to live in now and then ? |

I’d do it if they offer guaranteed hours.
So I’m not ginna drive that far to babysit for 2 hours but for 6 hours I would. |
