Incredible, Spanish-Speaking Nanny Available!

My family recently moved from NE DC to Bethesda, and the commute was too much for our former nanny, Estela, so she is available for a new family. I truly can’t recommend Estela enough! She was with us for 1 year (from the time my son was 5 months old), and we wish we could have kept her forever, as she has truly become like family to us. Here is a bit more about Estela:

-Languages: Estela speaks Spanish fluently and her English is very good. You can tell English is her second language, but we have never had an issue communicating with her in English. She taught our son Spanish too!
-Hours: Estela is looking for full time work. She worked for us 45 hours/week. Estela is flexible if you need her to come early or stay late once in a while too. She has literally never been late once and is always ~10 minutes early (one time, she texted me that she may be late and she still arrived ~2 minutes early).
-Activities: Estela took our son out of the house every day. They often would go to the park or, if it is raining, to her local community center in Cheverly where they had playdates with other kids (which we were thrilled about since we weren’t doing daycare). She would draw with him, read books, sing songs, teach him little phrases, etc.
-Meals/Laundry: Estela is a great cook and was a huge help in making food for our son. As a first time parent, I also relied on her guidance a lot in terms of what foods were appropriate and exposing him to new things. She was a godsend in that regard! She also did all of our son's laundry and changed his sheets twice per week.
-Certifications/Vaccines: Estela is CPR certified and has all her vaccines (including TDAP, flu, COVID).
-Other:
-Estela tried to coordinate her vacation with ours so that we weren’t left without care.
-Estela only once called in sick for one day, and she gave us as much notice as possible.
-Estela has grown children, so she does not have competing obligations for young kids.
-We also have two dogs, and Estela was great with them as well.
-Estela followed our guidance very well but also made helpful suggestions or asked me to get things for her that she thought our son needed (e.g., new crayons, etc.).
-Estela also drives and has a clean record.
-We also did a background check through care.com.

We are truly so sad to have parted with Estela, and we want to make sure she lands with a great family!
