Loving Nanny Available in Upper NW DC/Bethesda Area

Our nanny, Remmie, will be available to start work with another family in August. Remmie started working with our family two years ago when our daughter was five months old. We are sad to part with her but our daughter is starting preschool in the Fall.

Remmie has decades of experience taking care of children. Prior to joining our family Remmie also did a series of nanny shares so is experienced caring for multiple kids simultaneously. Before our daughter was born we would see Remmie around the neighborhood with a nanny share and she was always incredibly engaged with them (often singing, teaching them on walks). So when we saw that she was looking for work around the time our daughter was born we jumped at the opportunity. She has been wonderful with our daughter, providing her with regular opportunities to get out, explore the world, and socialize with other kids her age. Remmie rarely uses her phone around kids, and is constantly engaged in conversation or reading to our daughter. They truly love each other and their bond is heartwarming to see. As a testament to how engaged she is, I’ve had multiple neighbors approach me and tell me that they’ve seen Remmie and our daughter in the neighborhood and it’s clear how much Remmie cares for her.

Remmie is looking for full time work caring for an infant. In the nearly two years she has been with us, Remmie is extremely punctual. She is tidy and helps keep our house clean. Remmie is looking to join a family somewhere in Bethesda or upper NW DC. She is allergic to cats, and so is not able to work in a house with that type of furry friend.
