It seems like a setup to get responses, from the teasing subject line to the unlikely scenario that her divorced brother with kids confided in her that he won't marry an amazing younger woman because of her stubble.

I looked into that thread earlier. I don't see any indiction that the poster is a troll. The poster has created a lot of threads, but this on is very much out of character from the normal threads. It's kind of a one off venture into the relationship forum.
