Gas reimbursement for nanny using her car

Our son is starting preschool in September, what is the gas reimbursement rate and what else do we have to offer the nanny for using her car to transport our son five days a week to school and maybe some after school activities afterwards!

The reimbursement rate is 65.5 cents per mile.

She has to get a more expansive/expensive insurance policy if she is driving her car for work so I would offer to pay the increase.

Also, I offer 4x year car details because schlepping kids and all there things provides additional wear and tear.

I would also buy a car seat just for her car. It’s a pain to take them in and out in a weekly basis.

If you were still paying me FT for all those hours I wouldn’t expect gas rein unless I was driving like an hour.
