Awkward nanny situation

| We replaced our patio furniture in March and our nanny asked if she could have the old stuff. We were happy for her to take it, her husband came with a friend last month and put it in his truck. Unfortunately they also took four new planters that we just got and wanted to keep. We told our nanny right away and she agreed it was a mistake and said her husband would return them, not he hasn't done so. Initially she said he doesn't have a truck, so he has to get a friend with a truck, and he doesn't have time, then she said her DH was sick and couldn't take care of it. We're having a birthday party for our daughter on Sunday and we really want them back. We've checked in with her about it once a week, WWYD? |
