This is at alethia tanner park

That's a whole lot of assumptions to make for a person you've never spoken too. Way to go calling the cops though. So helpful.

what does it mean, curl up g on the ground? is she not well and collapsed? Maybe it is medical emergency?

I don't think that helps. You are not giving the exact details of incident if you say; you saw something dangerous.

You should gather the full details, exact name of the park, time and explain better the situation.

Did you ask her if she’s ok?

Seriously if you want proper and helpful responses you can't just post a one liner and make multiple comments adding bits of information.

If you are truly hoping this baby's parents see this, you would want to make sure they don't miss important details. You'd probably put the location in bold or capitals, definitely keep all info in the same post (not broken up in separate comments) and you'd pick a proper title to actually get the parents attention.

These vague posts omitting important information are getting so tiring on here especially if it has to do with child safety. You know there are real situations out there right? So many posts on this forum and on fb of folks pretending to look out for someone else or pretending to get advice when really they are looking for validation, an ego stroke at the expense of someone elses reputation/livelihood (throwing nannies under the bus).

Again, if this is truly a neglectful situation, why are you omitting important information that will get you the appropriate responses. So many assumptions in this posts and the same posters come up on the thread mad and angry that someone misunderstood them or made a conclusion not knowing the full story...well you chose not to include the full story so what are you looking for?

This almost seems too casual and the assumptions you've come to are leading others to give advice based on that assumption (unhelpful).

You should be able to inform the reader (eg the parents of this child) what led you to believe that this person is this child's nanny.

How did you conclude that she is sleeping-- did you walk up close

how do you know that this is a deliberate thing-- did you ask her if she is okay first?...and she said yes and continued sleeping? did you ask her if she's a nanny? or have you spoken to her before and established that she is a nanny.

These are important questions to consider because things aren't always black and white- this could be her own child, yes even if the child is of a different race or has a different skin complexion. Is negligent behavior okay in this case no and if she is being negligent then yes she should be reported (and personally before reporting I would walk up to her to ask if she is alright or at least gage the situation before calling cops unless I witness a child being mishandled or in an immediately dangerous situation) but this toxic thing of using peoples' racial/ethnic features to conclude WHO someone is and WHAT they do is very wrong.

And if this isn't what you intended on doing then understand that the lack of information in your post, leads us to conclude or assume that as well.

You need to understand that calling cops immediately for everything you see especially if it is the wrong perception isn't always helpful and it doesn't make you a hero.

With that said, for nannies and even parents or any caregiver-- sleeping in public while handing you or someone else's children is absolutely a no no--- not in this day and time we live in. If this is indeed a nanny and she was not having a medical emergency, then she is absolutely in the wrong and should face appropriate consequences.
