Who has gotten their Maryland nanny share licensed? RSS feed

We are considering completing the process to register our home as a family child care center for a potential 2-child nanny share. It’s required under MD law because the nanny would be caring for one child who is not a resident of the home. We’re wondering what the class work and inspections are like for those who have been through the registration process in Maryland?

Judging by the lack of responses, I’m wondering if anyone goes through the process?

Live in nanny here. I did the research to do this for a family who wanted to do a three part nanny share out of one of the other children’s home (family one would provide room and board, family two would provide communal supplies and space for the share, family three would pay more). It must be the caregiver’s home. If you want to run the nanny share, you will be the caregiver. The only way to get around that is to have a live-in caregiver.
