How much should I charge for household management and taking care of 2 little kids in the afternoon in DC?

How many hours per day? How many days per week?

What are your responsibilities?

40 hours a week cleaning, running errands, shopping and from 1:30 pm taking care of a 2,5 and a 4 years old until 5:30 pm

What do you consider “cleaning”? Vacuuming? Cleaning bathrooms? Honestly OP, you’re making this incredibly difficult for someone asking for help. Provide. More. Information. Also, your first post said two kids and now you say a 5 year old, 4 year old, and 2 year old?

Based on your posts, I wouldn’t hire you. It would be far too much effort managing your work.

Sorry, but managers have people to manage.
You charge the high rates that cleaning people charge. Don’t let them trick you.

Help me understand the math. How is 1:30-5:30 five days a week equaling 40 hours a week? Help me to see what you're seeing there.

Is if 2 kids age 2.5 and 4? If you have them
With you how are you cleaning and running errands as well?

I think she means the person would work 8 hours per day but would only be taking care of the kids from 130-530. So, for example, 930-130 would be spent completing the other tasks.

I do HM and was placed with a company, I get $37 hourly before taxes plus ll benefits(2 kids, tide up kitchen, laundry of children and parents, cleaners, grocery shopping, maintaining the house.) it’s a lot of work but employers give me 4 weeks of PTO in summer plus 5 days for the holidays.

$40 per hr

My friend does this. She charges $45/hr (1099). So it really is in the 30s/hr after taxes.

45 is not 30 per hr after taxes, closer to 35 per hr. Unless you are in 33% bracket.

So basically you’re a house cleaner, nanny, and a personal assistant? 3 jobs in one? $45-50/hr
