Nanny working significantly less hours- bonus? RSS feed

Anonymous
Hi all,

I'm trying to decide what to give our nanny as a Christmas bonus this year. She has been with us for 3 years. The job started full time and we gave her one weeks pay ($1000) the first year, 2 weeks pay ($2200) the second year. Now, my kids are in school and nanny in just doing 10 hours per week for us in addition to another FT nanny job she has. Two weeks pay now would be $600. Is it acceptable to give her that amount given her reduction in hours? She has been PT the full year.

Yes I think so since she is no longer full time with you.
