Covid/now what? RSS feed

Question;I'm a nanny and I had Covid about 6 weeks ago.
So I guess I'm "covered " for now on getting Covid again for the next 1-2 months.

Would be ok to work regularly even if one of the kids has Covid or I should stay home for 5 days?
I'm a little confused and not sure what to do in this situation.

Ask the parents what they want you to do. Yes, there is a risk you can catch it from teh child. If you agree to care for the child, make sure they pay you for sick leave if you catch it again.

I don’t know that you’re ever “covered” due to the ever mutating strains. Being vaccinated helps in terms of severity but I’m assuming your change is young and not vaccinated.

The best plan is to stay away. It’s better for you and better in terms of spreading the virus.

The CDC would tell you to stay away. Only the parents should be with the child and all isolating. Yes, you could absolutely get another strain and the worst part is that you could spread it.
