Who do you use for nanny payroll and are you happy with the service? Particularly interested in comparing Care/HomePay ($$$), GTM ($$), and Poppins Payroll ($). |
Didn’t like home pay.
Homework solutions is great. |
No to Home Pay.
I was a nanny for 10+ years and now have a nanny. Laura at The Nanny Tax Company is the best in the business. Affordable, reliable, makes it so easy. It's a small woman and family owned business that has only been doing nanny taxes for like 20+ years. Check them out! |
GTM will do your workers' comp which is required in DC and Maryland. They can also do health benefits for your nanny if you were going to do that. |
We use Poppins Payroll and have had no issues at all. Simple, easy to use, has all the features you need. Highly recommend. |
I can give you a referral code if you want a discount to go through GTM.
They can do payroll, taxes, health insurance stipend, workers comp, retirement contributions |
I've used HomePay (started w/ them when they were Breedlove) for almost a decade and they've been great. No errors, very available for any questions/changes, etc...
I'm sure there are other great options also but I've been very pleased. (And I've used them for elder care also.) |
Can you provide the code? |
One issue with Poppins (and why we did not use them) is that if you reside in DC and your nanny does not, they will not do state tax withholding for the state in which your nanny lives. |
