Does anyone know where I can connect with preschool teachers who might be convinced to leave for a nanny position? We are in Bethesda. Thanks! |
Are you looking for an ece degree, preschool experience, a bachelors or what? Many nannies have one or more. |
Any of the above! I haven’t had much luck finding a candidate, but I have only been asking friends and neighbors to date. Any advice on the best place to post the job or an agency to use? |
Our former nanny is looking for a position and she meets your requirements -former teacher with a degree. Please reach her at generalgerre@gmail.com |
Word of mouth. Put it out to everyone and try care.com and look through the profiles yourself and reach out. That’s how we found our preschool teacher nanny. |
+1. Care.com is great if you put in the work. Structure your ad to read FORMER PRESCHOOL TEACHERS ONLY in the first line. You’ll have to wade through lots of unqualified candidates but lots of teachers are on that site. Also go through profiles and contact the candidates. |
OP- I run a local agency and many of our candidates have backgrounds in preschool, education, nursing, etc. If an agency is within your budget, it may be worth using one that already has the pre-screened candidates you are looking for. |
Thank you! What agency do you run? I would love to speak with you. |
