Nanny wearing a bikini

Would you let your Nanny wear a bikini at he pool instead of 1 piece while she is her working hours; taking your kids at the pool? Would you prefer that she would wear 1 piece since she will be around lots of parents and other children? A family pool for this sumer!

I wear a bikini as do most of the moms at our pool. I mean we aren't wearing impractical ones where a boob might flop out while we are playing with the kids, but bikinis are plentiful. I would not care what she wore as long as it didn't prevent her from fulling engaging with DS.

My employer doesn't get to choose what I wear, normally.

I've had one family who wanted me to wear a very strict dress code (almost uniform). I told them that I would be happy to do that if they paid $5 more per hour due to my lack of comfort and ease of movement AND they would need to provide clothes that fit correctly.

They declined. I didn't take the job, and they went through 4 nannies in 2 months before moving to daycare instead.

That level of control is indicative of the control they want in other aspects of the job. No nanny would have been good enough, detached and yet caring enough, etc.

Of course I would allow our nanny to wear whatever swimsuit she was comfortable wearing.

Thank you for the advice. First time mom and first time having a nanny. Allowing her to wear whatever she feels most comfortable into the water, would work great. Thanks again

I’m curious why you would ask, OP. Did someone say something about your nanny’s bathing suit?

As long as everything is covered then I do not have an issue w/my Nanny wearing a bikini.

Dont care. Mine wore a rash guard to not have to apply a lot of sunscreen on herself.
