Are Au Pairs allowed to work extra hours for other families? If not, when you see an AP and/or host family advertising on social media that their AP is available for extra work and babysitting hours, do you say anything? |
They are not. It’s a violation of their visa and the program. I’d probably mention it to anyone who was considering hiring them. |
If you know the host family, I would say something to them. They shouldn’t knowingly jeopardize her status. |
