| Is anyone having luck with rematch/extension au pairs right now? I am finding that the pool of candidates is a bit eye-brow raising. Just want to hear what others are seeing through different agencies. |

The rematch pool i quite awful right now. It’s full of APs that want lax Covid restrictions. I did find a lovely one by focusing on rematches due to host families leaving program due to job loss and those in conservative areas who were unhappy with level of English.

AP can’t help with homework or DL due to a language barrier (liberal and conservative), or parents don’t want their kids home all day with someone who speaks English with an accent, because they don’t want their kids picking up the accent (conservative areas, at least mildly xenophobic and/or racist). |
