Student Visa for Au Pair

We love our au pair and would like to sponsor her through a student visa beginning September 2021. Has anyone had experience with this? Can anyone provide feedback on process and cost? We just started our research but if anyone is open to speaking as well that would be great!

Right almost impossible.
Anyway, clearly illegal. From immigration and tax perspective. And be careful. A friend did this, spent money in an attorney, then the AP got pregnant and left. |

You don’t sponsor a student visa, a school does.
You can financially sponsor her education. This means handing over the tens of thousands of dollars she needs for school and putting it in her bank account, no strings attached. This proves she can afford to attend school and then she’ll get a student visa and be a student. She won’t be able to work for you (or anyone else). That’s the point of the money in a bank account in her name—to prove to the government she won’t need to work. There aren’t loopholes or workarounds. Anyone who tells you they did it paid under the table or otherwise broke the law. Source: hired a lawyer and tried to keep an au pair myself. |

| Wow. You must love her so much like your daughter. Since you are willing to afford her education with thousands of dollars. To help her to get that Student Visa; you have to be responsible in paying for education here in US. |

| They require four years of tuition in the account to be accepted to some schools. As far as I know, the visa only requires one year at tuition at a time. |
