| Has anyone qualified for and/or applied for the visa exemption ban yet ? If so, have you any information to share about the process? I know we have to fill out a form and write a letter once we have matched with an au pair - not sure what supporting documents they might need and how much detail they want in the letter. We are with Cultural Care and a doctor parent family (working directly w covid pts) - not getting much help from our matching specialist so was wondering if anyone has any additional information. TIA! |

| We are in the same vote. Filled out the form, waiting for three weeks now for some movement. Our incoming German au pair has yet to be contacted by the Cultural Care team in Germany (we were told this is the next step). She told us today she has taken a job rather than wait any longer. |

| Ours with ccap is on top of it. Could depend on the in country staff. Ours got an emergency appointment scheduled already for the interview. Our ap is from Colombia |

| OP here, thanks for the information. Sorry to hear your German au pair got a job - what a mess. Has anyone received any guidance as to how much detail they need in the letter? Do you need to document how many hours/wk you work, how many covid pts you care for and in what capacity, current volume of covid pts at your hospital, etc? |
