Rates for teacher/tutor

Hi everyone, we are hiring someone to work with our kids 2x a week on their online lessons. Since there is no “babysitting” involves, how much should we pay? Looking for answers!

$30 and up for part time job if it's 2 kids and more if you have more than two kids. I have $40 for 3 kids in DC area 30h/week. So if you want someone only twice a week you will pay more.

I’ve been offered $50 to $100 an hour with guaranteed hours.

I’m not tutoring due to covid but I can imagine teachers and tutors getting even more now (but I don’t know that for sure).

Ask them to provide rates. Pick the best ratio of rate to education/experience.

$60/hr for a tutor. More than one child, it could be more.
