It died in committee. If you look at the bill on the committee website, it shows they talked about it and the amendments that moved on got voted as "in order." Jayapal's latest attempt (to preempt a federal program in an appropriations bill) got proposed, but did not pass. |

The wording would not allow any state or court to BLOCK minimum wage for APs, but it would not require it either. It would mean that any state passing a domestic worker bill would not be able to write in an exception for APs, and court cases would not need to happen like they did for Massachusetts. |
