Calculating OT

I’m confused about how to calculate OT

Is it calculated weekly or daily? Say if we did Tuesday-Friday from 8:30-6 and M from 8:30-1 that would be a total of 43 hours a week. Are we paying 3 hours OT for the week or are we paying for each hour past 9 per day? In this case a half hour a day?

Depends on what state you live in. All states are over 40 hours per week but some calculate after eight or nine hours.
