Can AP hold vacation time till end?

| First timer here. I know the agency encourages the AP to take a week if vacation during first 6 months and second week during final half, but our AP wants to save it all up for the end - I have given a few extra vacation days for long weekend trips so far....wondering if she can save it till the end? I am okay with either way. Thank you! |

| As long as it's mutually agreed upon by you and her, then she can take it whenever. |

| Yes, that's what our first AP did. Don't know how she lasted all year without a vacation, but she was excellent and enjoyed her last two weeks. |

| Wow that sounds great! Then you schedule new AP to come in overlapping outgoing AP and not scramble for coverage. |

My AP took her vacation near the end. She came back and worked 3 weeks before her year was up. All the transitions were hard for my kids (in and out and in and out...) and she kinda checked out when she returned. Blech - I don't recommend allowing what we allowed.
