How do you get an organized au pair?

Can you please share what types of questions you ask and how to figure out whether or not someone is organized and can help the kids stay organized? So far we have had some great AP ‘s and I seem to screen well
For compatibility with the family and the kids but all of them are just so disorganized. I let it go because they are awesome with the kids but I’d really like someone organized this time around. Thanks.

Ask how they stayed organized in school. Ask for specifics. Truly organized people will have good answers.

Present them with a hypothetical (either on skype if language is good or via email) that tests this. For example, "Larla, dear Sebastian has his trumpet lesson after school today. What steps do you need todo to make it a successful day?" Look for answers that show she is thinking through things, like whether she asks whether the lesson is a school so he needs to bring the trumpet with him in the morning or if she should bring it in the afternoon bc its somewhere else.

ask to see her bedroom! Or tell her how important it is to you and watch her reaction and ask her for examples.
